Anise Hyssop is a moderate-growing perennial, hardy in USDA zones 4-8, that matures to about 2–4 ft × 1.5–3 ft. It does best in full sun and part shade with low water needs in well-drained, moist and occasionally-dry soil. Expect blue and purple blooms in summer and fall. It attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, stands up well to deer and pests and rabbits.
