Privacy Policy

YardRemake("we", "us") is an AI yard-design service: you upload a photo of your yard and we generate redesigned versions of it, backed by a real plant catalog. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using YardRemake, you agree to this policy.

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

Content you provide. Yard photos you upload, the designs generated from them, projects and notes you create, plants and products you favorite, and the growing zone and city you set (derived from a ZIP code you enter).

Where it lives. Your designs and favorites are stored locally in your browser. When you sign in, designs are also synced to our cloud database so they follow you across devices.

Technical data. Our infrastructure providers keep basic operational logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to run and protect the service.

We use your information to provide and improve the service: generating designs from your photos, saving your library, fitting plant recommendations to your growing zone, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

To generate designs, the photos you upload and the design instructions you choose are processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf. Please don't upload photos that include people, license plates, or anything else you wouldn't want processed by an AI service.

Some product links (for example, planters on Amazon) are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you. Third-party sites you visit through those links have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies.

We share information only with the service providers that make the product work (authentication, database and hosting, and AI generation), when required by law, or to protect the service from abuse. We never sell it.

You can delete any saved design from within the app. Designs stored locally live in your browser's storage and are removed when you clear it. To delete your account and any synced data, email us at hurley8hit@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we'll honor them.

YardRemake is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
