Tropical yard ideas
A tropical yard is about leaf size and layering. Palms give the canopy, bananas and bird of paradise fill the middle, and big glossy foliage runs right down to the ground so nothing bare shows. Colour comes from hibiscus and croton, not from flower beds.

How to get the look
- 1Plant in three heights: canopy palms, mid-height broadleaf, and a dense ground layer of foliage.
- 2Use natural stone borders and dark mulch so the greens look deeper.
- 3Cluster plants tightly. Tropical reads as abundance, so gaps break the illusion.
